VA Battling Silent Epidemic

According to Veteran Administration’s Office of Research and Development 20% of the veterans that use the VA health care system have type 2 diabetes mellitus, compared to 8.3% of the general population. That adds up to approximately 1 million veterans with type 2 diabetes. VA Battling Silent Epidemic.
